It is a season of love, healing, discovery, and transformation. It can also be a season filled with questions, exhaustion, and moments that feel overwhelming. I believe every mother deserves care that feels personal, peaceful, and rooted in compassion.
I’m Alysa Lindsey, RN, BSN, IBCLC, founder of The Nouréa Lactation Company.
As a postpartum nurse with previous NICU experience, I have had the privilege of supporting mothers, babies, and families through breastfeeding and pumping journeys, painful latch, milk supply concerns, NICU transitions, mastitis, breast abscess management, and the many unexpected moments that can shape the postpartum experience. Those experiences have shown me that every family is unique, and every family deserves individualized, evidence based care.
Because caring for a mother goes far beyond feeding, I believe in supporting the whole postpartum journey. Through trusted collaborations with a psychiatric nurse practitioner and a registered dietitian, families have access to additional support for emotional well being and nutrition because you deserve to be cared for, too.
